91¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ HOSA Team Excels at State Leadership Conference

91¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ students consistently excel at local, statewide, and national competition—earning top recognition for their academic, creative, and athletic achievement. The College’s Health Occupation Students of America (HOSA) students’ performance at the organization’s State Leadership Conference is a shining example of the exceptionalism demonstrated by 91¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ students.
At the conference, held March 28-31 in Orlando, diligent competition in their events earned five HOSA students four gold medals, two bronze medals, and two gold recognition medals.
The following are each of the recognitions and awards earned by the 91¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ HOSA team at the State Leadership Conference:

Courtesy Corps Winner: 1st Place—Gold Medal

$700 HOSA Scholarship: Alternate recipient

Health Science Event (KT – Behavioral Health): 1st Place—Gold Medal
Participation in the State Leadership Conference culminated with the recognition of the 91¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ HOSA team on-stage to induct 91¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ into the National HOSA Association.
The 91¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ HOSA team members will now move forward to compete at the International HOSA Leadership Conference in Orlando, Florida held June 19-23, 2019. Congratulations to our HOSA students for their well-earned recognition and achievement!
