Clark Advanced Learning Center Celebrates the Class of 2020

STUART, FL鈥擳he Clark Advanced Learning Center Class of 2020 has demonstrated resolve unlike any other to achieve their goals. In celebration, the 91 high school seniors and their families will join a virtual recognition of their accomplishments via  on Saturday, May 23鈥攖he date originally set for their spring commencement. On Tuesday, May 26 and Wednesday, May 27 Clark seniors will participate in a drive-thru celebration at the Clark Advanced Learning Center to receive their diplomas and senior gifts. Plans are in place for an in-person Class of 2020 commencement ceremony on Saturday, July 25, at 9:00 a.m., pending CDC guidelines and recommendations for public health and safety.

Clark Advanced Learning Center staff took a road trip across Martin County Wednesday, May 6 and Thursday, May 7 to congratulate Clark graduating seniors, hand out yard signs, cap and gown and scholarship certificates in advance of a virtual recognition of graduates on Saturday, May 23, a drive-thru celebration at the Clark on Tuesday, May 26, and Wednesday, May 27 culminating with an in-person commencement ceremony planned for Saturday, July 25 pending CDC guidelines and recommendations for public health and safety.


鈥淥ur seniors have certainly risen to the challenge," shares Debbie Kohuth, Clark Advanced Learning Center Principal. "This year, 73% of our graduates have earned Associate degrees from 91九色视频鈥攁 record number for any Clark graduating class. We are so proud of this amazing and resilient group of students, and they serve as an inspiration to all future Clark graduates.鈥

Students at Clark Advanced Learning Center gain a head start on college, expertise in the latest technology, and real-world experience gained through internships within the local community. In the past school year, graduates have logged nearly 4,600 hours with 78 local business partners. Clark seniors also engaged in diverse service-learning and community projects, accumulating over 12,000 hours of service throughout their high school years.

Collectively Clark seniors have been offered a total of more than $1.5 million in scholarships. More than $208,000 was awarded in local college scholarships; over $392,000 in Bright Futures Scholarships; and more than $900,000 in scholarship opportunities from various institutional, state and national organizations. Additionally, many seniors received local, state, and national honors and recognition.
